This paper explores how collaborative learning strategies contribute to improving communication skills among learners of English as a Second Language (ESL). It analyzes the impact of group-based tasks, peer discussions, and cooperative learning methods on students' language proficiency and confidence in spoken interactions. The study emphasizes how techniques such as problem-solving exercises, structured debates, and role-playing activities enhance learners' ability to articulate thoughts, engage in meaningful conversations, and refine their language skills. Additionally, the paper discusses the influence of multicultural learning environments on the development of pragmatic competence in ESL learners.
