Abstract

Currently, the world of cultivated and wild plants growing naturally is widely used in our republic in all fields, including medicine. But in recent years, the area of naturally growing plants is decreasing. Many fields are in crisis as a result of anthropogenic and man-made factors, and productivity is decreasing. As a result, the prices of pharmaceutical products are becoming more expensive, and the need for drugs cannot be met. It is possible to satisfy the population's need for naturally grown medicinal plants by selecting and introducing fertile, nutritious, disease- and pest-resistant plant species for such areas in crisis. One of such plants is algor (Mediasia macrophylla Pimen).
