IMMUNOLOGICAL AND PATHOPHYSIOLOGICAL MECHANISMS OF SYSTEMIC INFLAMMATION

The lecture presents modern data, as well as the author's concept of systemic inflammation, which is considered as a typical pathological process underlying the pathogenesis of the most life-critical conditions of various genesis. The distinctive features of "classical" and systemic inflammation are analyzed, the immunological and pathophysiological mechanisms underlying them are classified. The main private processes, phases and individual variants of the development of systemic inflammation are highlighted. The concept of "systemic damage" is specified.
