CORONARY BYPASS SURGERY IN ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME
Keywords:
high-risk acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation, percutaneous coronary intervention, coronary bypass surgery within 24 hours, myocardial infarction.Abstract
Despite the significant hospital mortality after coronary bypass surgery in high-risk acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation, surgical myocardial revascularization is a life-saving operation, since percutaneous coronary intervention in these patients is associated with high periprocedural complications due to severe calcified lesions of the coronary bed.
