Abstract

This thesis analyzes the phenomenon of meaning transfer in terms used in the modern education system using the example of English and Uzbek languages. New terms that have emerged under the influence of digital technologies and global integration processes, their semantic expansion and application features are highlighted. The linguistic nature of terms formed on the basis of metaphor and metonymy is revealed.
