Abstract

This article analyzes the role of fiction in ensuring mental development. Fiction is an important tool in developing human thinking, forming imagination and detailed thinking skills. Personal and social consciousness, spirituality, and moral values are strengthened through literary works. Especially in educating the younger generation, fiction has a great influence, through which children develop such qualities as empathy, aesthetic taste, and critical thinking. The article also highlights the role of fiction in the educational process, its psychological and pedagogical foundations.
