Abstract

 This article explores the role and importance of communication between doctors and patients in clinical practice. Effective communication is analyzed as an essential component of high-quality healthcare, influencing patient satisfaction, understanding, treatment adherence, and health outcomes. Communication skills are considered a key component of clinical competence alongside knowledge base, physical examination, and problem-solving abilities. The article also examines modern methods of teaching communication skills, including experiential learning, feedback, and problem-based approaches. Furthermore, it highlights the partnership model between doctor and patient, along with its theoretical and practical foundations.
