THE ROLE OF THE HISTORICAL PERIOD AND ENVIRONMENT IN SHAPING THE WORLDVIEW OF ABDULLA ORIPOV

Abstract

 This article analyzes the role of the historical period and social environment in shaping the worldview of the prominent Uzbek poet Abdulla Oripov. The study examines how the poet’s childhood, family upbringing, educational background, and literary environment influenced the development of his creative thinking and artistic perception. In particular, it highlights the importance of a book-loving family atmosphere and the strong appreciation for literature within his household as key factors in his personal and intellectual formation.

The article also explores the impact of the socio-political context of the Soviet era on the poet’s artistic views. It reveals how, under the dominance of Soviet ideology, themes such as national identity, the concept of the Motherland, and respect for the native language found their unique artistic expression in his works.

Furthermore, the study provides a scientific analysis of the major themes in Oripov’s poetry, including patriotism, national pride, historical memory, and universal human values. As a result, it is concluded that the formation of the poet’s worldview was significantly influenced by the interconnection of family environment, educational processes, and the spirit of the historical period.
