This article examines the importance of considering the psychological characteristics of an offender’s personality in the rehabilitation process. Criminal behavior is analyzed not only as a legal violation but also as a consequence of complex psychological and social factors. The study emphasizes that effective rehabilitation requires an individualized psychological approach based on the offender’s emotional state, cognitive patterns, motivation, and behavioral tendencies. Psychological assessment and targeted interventions, including cognitive-behavioral methods and counseling, are highlighted as key tools for reducing recidivism and promoting successful social reintegration. The findings suggest that integrating personality psychology into rehabilitation programs significantly increases their effectiveness and contributes to long-term social stability.
