Legal education in preschool educational institutions is a fundamental component of early childhood development, as it forms the foundation of children’s moral awareness, social responsibility, and respect for social norms. In the context of preschool education, legal upbringing based on national values plays a particularly important role, as it ensures that legal concepts are introduced in a culturally meaningful and age-appropriate manner. This study aims to explore the distinctive features of providing legal education to preschool children through national values, traditions, and cultural heritage. The research examines the pedagogical mechanisms, methods, and educational conditions that contribute to the effective formation of basic legal awareness among preschool children. The findings demonstrate that integrating national values into legal education enhances children’s understanding of rights and duties, strengthens moral behavior, and promotes respect for social rules. The study also emphasizes the importance of educator competence, family involvement, and a supportive cultural environment in achieving sustainable educational outcomes.
