This article analyzes the development of museums in Uzbekistan, emphasizing their cultural and educational role as well as the stages of modernization in the post-independence period. The research explores the historical foundations of museum work, the process of digital transformation, and the integration of museums into the educational system. Findings indicate that museums in Uzbekistan have evolved from static repositories of artifacts into dynamic centers of learning and cultural communication. However, issues such as limited funding and the need for professional training remain. The paper provides evidence-based recommendations for improving the effectiveness and sustainability of the museum sector.References
