Keywords:
nervous system, neuron, synapse, brain, spinal cord, central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, neurophysiology, impulse, reflex.Abstract
This article analyzes the morphological structure and functional mechanisms of the human nervous system, as well as the interconnection between its central and peripheral parts. The focus is on the structure of nervous tissue, the process of information exchange between neurons, the physiological significance of synapses, and the control mechanisms of brain and spinal cord divisions. Neurophysiological, anatomical, and experimental methods were used in the research. The article is intended primarily for students of biology, medicine, and psychology, as well as researchers in neurobiology.
