DIGITALIZATION IN TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES

Abstract

The thesis examines the processes of digitalization in education and their impact on teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL). The advantages of using digital technologies such as electronic platforms, mobile applications, online courses, and artificial intelligence are highlighted. The challenges and risks of digitalization, including reduced live communication, information overload, and dependence on technology, are analyzed. Examples of successful implementation of digital tools in the educational process are provided. Special attention is given to the role of the teacher as a moderator of the digital environment. The conclusion emphasizes the necessity of a balanced combination of traditional and digital teaching methods.
