The article highlights the theoretical foundations of creative innovations and creative competence. The significance of applying creative innovations in the activities of geography teachers, the components of creative competence, and the factors of its development are scientifically analyzed. As a result, the role of innovative technologies, interactive methods, and project-based approaches in shaping students’ creative thinking in geography education is substantiated.
