Abstract

This article studies the role of paralinguistic means in Uzbek and English cultures, their importance, and the expression of paralinguistic means of expressing positive emotions in two languages. Paralinguistic means are expressed through gestures, facial expressions, body movements, and intonations, and they play a major role in enriching the extra-verbal layer of meaning.
