THE ROLE OF CIVIL LAW IN ATTRACTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN PLACES OF DETENTION IN UZBEKISTAN: LEGAL FRAMEWORK AND IMPLEMENTATION CHALLENGES

This paper examines the pivotal role of civil law in facilitating entrepreneurial activities within correctional facilities in Uzbekistan, analyzing the legal framework that governs business operations in places of detention. Through comprehensive analysis of existing legislation, regulatory mechanisms, and implementation practices, this study explores how civil law provisions can be leveraged to attract private sector investment and entrepreneurial initiatives in correctional institutions. The research identifies key legal instruments, regulatory gaps, and proposes recommendations for enhancing the civil law framework to promote sustainable entrepreneurship in detention facilities while ensuring compliance with international standards and human rights principles.
