Abstract

This article examines the main types of violence and abuse that children may face in modern society. Special attention is given to the negative consequences of such exposure on the mental and physical development of the child. The study also analyzes contemporary approaches to child protection, including the role of the family, educational institutions, society, and legal frameworks. Scientifically grounded recommendations are presented for the prevention and timely identification of such cases.
