Abstract

This article analyzes phonetic phenomena, which are an important branch of phonetics. In linguistics, detailed information is provided about the changes in speech sounds, their interaction with each other, differences in pronunciation, historical and modern phonetic phenomena, as well as their forms of manifestation in different languages. The linguistic nature of phenomena such as assimilation, dissimilation, elision, metathesis, gemination is approached on the basis of a theoretical and practical approach.
